Overall purpose of the job
Key Responsibilities	Carry out administrative and other duties & responsibilities as may be assigned. Develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses Supervise dissertations/theses at the graduate level Supervise undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programs Give an inaugural lecture in one’s discipline normally within one (1) year after promotion Initiate, promote and participate in research projects and publish Provide academic leadership through programme development, mentoring and research Provide professional and community services including initiating linkages and fundraising Teach and assess courses in one’s discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate level
Qualifications and skills	EXPERIENCE: Served for at least 10 years as a professor at Kenya Highlands University. OTHER: Retired as a Professor of Kenya Highlands University. OTHER: Been an excellent lecturer and administrator OTHER: Evidence of developing fundable proposals and attracting funding
